Macview is an app for looking at pictures. It collects nothing. There is little to write here, so this is short.
It does not go on the network
Macview makes no connections. It does not even check for updates, so nothing leaves your Mac when you launch it or open a picture. There is no server behind it and no account.
Pictures are only opened
A picture you open is read in order to put it on screen. Nothing is sent anywhere, nothing is copied, nothing is recorded. The app has no way to write at all.
There is no analytics
No crash reporting, no usage measurement, no device identifier, no third-party SDK is in the app.
You can check
Macview is published under the MIT license. None of this has to be taken on trust: read the source, and open an issue if something looks wrong.
